Jeff Foli Update

February 19, 2008

Jeff FoliA few months ago, former mayor of Chillicothe, Missouri, Jeff Foli submitted a guest post, Political Power in the Pulpit, about his concerns regarding then candidate Mitt Romney based on his own experience with Mormon Church leaders while mayor.  I suggest you go back and read it.  It’s quite thought-provoking.

Since that time, Jeff has provided an update on his own situation, and I have decided to go ahead and put it here on the front page for the benefit of our readers.  Once again, here is Jeff Foli:

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Probably because of the Romney controversy, on February 4, 2008, Thomas S. Monson said to Peggy Stack, reporter for the Salt Lake Tribune, that the church does not get involved in political matters. If this is true, then why, when I was Mayor of Chillicothe Missouri, was I was threatened with excommunication if I did not rescind a piece of Legislation that I sent to the Missouri State Legislature?

It is supposedly against Federal Law (Title 26, Section 501) for a church to influence legislation, but in 2003, the late Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley and his councilors thought it appropriate and acceptable to threaten my membership in the church when I was Mayor of Chillicothe in Northwest Missouri, regarding a political matter.

On Feb. 17, 2007, the Church will hold a disciplinary Council (church court) on me because I let the public know of these acts via the Internet, and I finally filed charges with the local Sheriff, the ACLU, the IRS, and others because of the continual manipulation and abuse of Mormon leaders. I tried for several years to quietly and internally settle these issues, but they would have none of it.

They view my exposure and revealing of their actions as my attempt to disparage and criticize leaders (evil speaking of the Lord’s anointed). They state, “those who reject Christ’s servants, reject him”. Why does leadership demand no accountability in Churches for inappropriate actions of leaders?

Do we think Brigham Young would have personally sought out those accountable for the senseless murder of 120 men, women, and children on SEPTEMBER 11, 1857, without pressure from the Federal Government? Who will protect us? Where are the checks and balances for questioning potential religious abuses?

Most of the Mormon people are good, honest individuals, but the people of Missouri will not put up with this type of stronghanded influence. So as the Mormon Migration to Missouri continues, I hope the Mormon people will open their minds and become more careful and considerate of the people they meet.

Most have no idea of what really happened in Missouri over 170 years ago, because the whole story was never fully told.

Coral Reefs Are Satanic Plots

February 4, 2008

CoralYoung Earth Science (true science) is making remarkable progress on a number of fronts. I have yet to see them attack this, however:

We have sourced the latest information avaliable on the age of the Great Barrier Reef. Stay tuned though, because we’re expecting this information to change as more research is undertaken.

These are the significant dates you should be talking about when you explain the age of the Great Barrier Reef:

  • While corals have existed on the Great Barrier Reef for as long as 25 million years, they didn’t form large reef structures like those we see today.
  • The earliest record we have of complete reef structures (like those we see today) is from 600000 years ago.
  • The current Great Barrier structure started growing on top of the old reef platform about 9000 years ago when the sea levels rose at the end of the last Ice Age.

Many of the places that support reefs today were part of the land during the last ice age, which ended about 20000 years ago.

As global temperatures increased, the ice melted and retreated to the poles and mountain tops. Sea levels rose to their present levels about 6000 years ago, creating ideal conditions for corals to develop along the tops of former low coastal hills.

The Great Barrier Reef comprises about 2900 seperate reefs off the coasts of the islands and the mainland, and barrier reefs facing the sea. The outer Reef lies along the edge of the Australian continental shelf.

Turtles and sharks are the marine ‘dinosaurs’ of the Reef. Turtles have been swimming around in its waters for 150 million years, while sharks have been around for about 400 million years _ that’s 100 times longer than humans.

Coral ReefNow I am not a qualified YEC scientist, but even I can see that these ‘coral reefs’ are about as phony as can be. James Ussher accurately _ and biblically _ calculated the following dates:

  • 4004 BC – Creation.
  • 2348 BC – The Great Flood.
  • 1921 BC – God’s call to Abraham.
  • 1491 BC – The Exodus from Egypt.
  • 1012 BC – The founding of the Temple in Jerusalem.
  • 586 BC – The destruction of Jerusalem by Babylon and the beginning of the Babylonian Captivity.
  • 4 BC – The birth of Jesus.

This all sounds right to me. But the moonbat Australian government, which calls its birds ‘boobies’, is determined to destroy the faith of billions of Christians around the world with these ‘coral reefs’. When they are presented in the MSM or by some Darwinist college professor, we can easily see through their lives, but an innocent and brainwashed park ranger is much more convincing. Just take a look at a picture of this ‘brain coral’:

Brain coral 2.jpgThe photo looks convincing at first glance. There is no possible way this photo could have been photoshopped. However, the carvings appear too precise and too simple to be made by the LORD. The LORD does not make simple designs. It is obvious that these Darwinists took a bunch of colored rocks and embed them with tiny jacks so that they could expand slowly but surely. The idea that several small organisms formed these ‘coral reefs’ is utterly ridiculous.

Fiji MermaidWhat can you, the average citizen, do to stop this elaborate hoax on par with P.T. Barnum? (Update by Psycheout: Remember the Fiji Mermaid, pictured at right?) One thing you can do is to simply swim around the reef and start bashing it to pieces in areas where the Australian government can’t see it. A far better plan, however, is to get King Brownback to petition the Australian government to demolish these phony organisms. One can only hope that the Darwinists, losing one of their main ‘trumps’ (ha!), will be demoralized and will stop persecuting true scientists like Ben Stein. Then, we can begin the slow, painful process of not only taking back America, but making sure that ‘science’ no longer can even dream of making phony theories.

The Passing of Benazir Bhutto

December 28, 2007

Benazir BhuttoIt is a most unfortunate tragedy at the passing of opposition Leader Bhutto, such a Courageous person of Leadership, whose only goal was to help further the cause of freedom and democracy in an area of the world where oppression has ruled the peoples lives for 2000 or more years.

It seems like the people of those countries thrive on a thirst for blood-shed and violence. Thousands upon thousands of people perishing each year at the hands of Ideologically ego-driven maniacs. So many of our friends on the Democrat side want to continue to further the line that Islam is the “religion of peace” line. I’ve had it up to my ears with that line, Islam is not a “religion of peace”, but of lies.

I can assure though, that this is no time to be arguing politics, but more specifically…

Despite the fact that our gut instincts say, “Oh no, this is the end of the world”, mind you, and don’t get me wrong, I don’t say this to lessen the significance of Ms. Bhutto’s passing, but I believe good can come out of this, I honestly do.

You know, I don’t know if you have seen any of the movies, but there has been several movies published about the life and times of Jesus Christ (The Savior of mankind), who was beaten, scourged, and crucified for our every sin, from the time we were born, ’till the day we will ultimately die. Even despite the fact that He could have chosen not to, but unlike so many, He wasn’t thinking of Himself, but of lost and suffering people, destined to Devil’s torment.

Christ on the CrossWhat a horrible, horrible death, but do we concentrate solely on the horror of His death? No! It’s the message He brought, and the reason He died for us that means the most; and I tell you, He turned this world upside down, friends. People after more than 2000 years, not all, but people who were touched by His Truth have spread the Gospel until it has encompassed the globe. He’s still RIGHT HERE with us, this very day, Folks! HALLELUJAH!!!

Well, I seen in a way, kind of the same person in Ms. Bhutto. She wasn’t afraid. She was willing to step out for a worthy cause in a dark and oppressed world, to deliver that message of hope and peace, and I’m sure she inspired many for that same assurance, that same hope, that same peace to help make a better more peaceful world.

For those who were there, that were able to hear the message of hope she delivered, that cared, I’m sure she made an impact on their lives; and that’s all it takes, friends. The folks who were touched by her message could be inspired, and they could use her message to turn that Devil’s den into an oasis of Great Peace and Prosperity. All it takes is one person, to move an entire Nation.

Don’t take my word for it, just ask the Prince of Peace, Our heavenly Father from Above.

So, let’s keep the family of Ms. Bhutto and the country of Pakistan in our prayers; that the Lord will make good things happen.

God bless!

Long-Haired Men Are the Anti-Christs

December 24, 2007

A Dirty HippieWhat with the foolish amounts of hippies that are trying to appear ‘cool’ so that you might let them fornicate with your children, we can hardly risk letting our children out of our sight these days.

What we conservatives aren’t often noticing is that hippies are just a mere subculture of the great symbol of anti-conservatism, long hair on men. Liberals love symbolism; they use it to brainwash the school boards into allowing their foolish books to poison our children’s minds.

I think that there can be no greater threat to America than this deeply rooted hairstyle. And here it says that “long hair frequently shows less sexual control”; no wonder hippies are the worst part of our society. Although much of the site is meaningless whining over why they feel hair is ‘important’, I feel they are correct on this statement.

Another Hippie

It is worth mentioning that the Bible understood the threat very well. 1 Corinthians 11:14 : Doth not even nature teach you that it is shameful for a man to have long hair? The weirdos are undoubtedly going to argue that the Nazarites could take a vow to God by not cutting their hair. True to their traditions of quote mining, however, they will not know a single thing about the story of Samson and Delilah.

As conservatives know, Delilah invoked her typical woman’s deception on Samson by tempting him into breaking his vow. Blinded by the Philistines, Samson had not lost all faith with God, so he managed to kill his captors. However, the strongest man in the world had been betrayed by his hair and his woman.

It is fitting that God now requires women to cover their heads with hair: 1 Corinthians 11:16 for her hair is given to her as a covering… It is to be a transvestite for a man to adopt woman’s dress styles, but it must be a mental disorder to adopt a woman’s shame.

Not only that, the traitorous Abasalom must have had lots of hair upon his head: 2 Samuel 14:26 : And when he polled his head… he weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels after the king’s weight. God clearly does not want men to have long hair.

More Hippies

But the hippies, injuns, and whatnots have been subtly planning the overthrow of Jesus, first by starting an utter lie about whether Jesus agreed with their foolish ideas or not. They have now turned the commonly marketed Jesus into a symbol of their shameful ways. The Prince of Peace was no hippy.

Any right-thinking person can see the evils in hippy society: they give little babies marijuana, they fornicate with doorknobs, they waste half their life at rock concerts, and encourage shameful Asian religions. What we are not noticing is their slow spread into other cultures.

A Hippie Infestation

The premier place for these sinners to gather is at the Long Hair Hyperboard, where these sad pathetic whelps long for the next 10 years to be ‘skipped’ just so they can have dead protein hanging down to their shoulders. Longhairs often hang out at rock concerts, Harley-Davidson fanclub bars, and environmentalist rallies.

Long hair has become a symbol of just about every sector on the left. Hopefully, we can pass a law requiring all of these men’s heads to be sheered so that no hair grows past the ears or touches the collar. Long hair is anti-American, plain and simple.

Should Iowan Voters Heed the Advice of a Talk Show Host?

December 12, 2007

OprahThe extremes to which some folks will go to gain power and in turn wield that power on the populace majority is in the case of some, more specifically, Democrats, downright preposterous!

Oprah Winfrey hit the campaign trails with the freshman lawmaker from Illinois Sen. Barack Obama in recent days. Oprah said this to reporters, what we need, she said after a nervous beginning, is a new way of doing politics in Washington. A trick as old as the history of political campaigning itself.

Well, pardon me, folks, but if all those good voters in Iowa vote in a man who hasn’t the experience compared to that of a kindergartner in politics, on the basis of an appeal by Oprah Winfrey, then they are much less perspective on matters of our State of the Union than I first thought.

Sen. Obama hasn’t been in the Senate but for a short period of time, likewise, he hasn’t been a frequent participant in hearings on the Senate floor, in deciding on the tough issues the American people grapple with every single day, and most of the issues he’s talked about are those that he has not helped to decide on…and don’t get me wrong, folks, it’s not an issue of race here, we are long over-due for giving someone of the other race an opportunity as our Leader; and equally important to break down the male hold on the Presidency.

ObamaSo it has nothing to do with race or gender, but more specifically with the person who has the experience and the right goals in mind for the good of America, the agenda that will set our Nation forward in the right direction, a direction of moral principles, ending Abortion, setting the standard for marriage, children in our schools, our school systems need major proposals for abolishing the Liberal propaganda that is being force-fed to them.

The candidate who has these credentials and believes in a principle of morality for the good of mankind, and earned them, mind you, is the person qualified to lead…

As for Oprah Winfrey, undoubtedly there are those who would believe Winfrey herself to be that person. Unfortunately, through interviewing people as a talk show host from which she has been made a billionaire, while certainly, admirably, hardly qualifies her for that job or, for that matter, for telling us whom she thinks is. Not to mention the fact the party she is supporting (Communist Liberal Democrats) disqualifies her to an even greater degree.

My advice….People should take a little extra time and get a sense of perspective of where we’re at now, and where they want the country to go, and what the best course of action would be to take on the issues, and who has those goals in mind.

As for me, Vote Mike Huckabee ‘08!

God bless!

Bob Corker on the Death Penalty

December 11, 2007

Gas ChamberI read something disturbing in the news today:

After hours of debate and testimony, the New Jersey Senate today approved bill S-171 which will replace the state’s death penalty with a sentence of life without parole. The measure was approved by a vote of 21-16 and now moves to the State Assembly, where approval is also expected in a vote on Thursday. The governor has indicated he will sign the bill into law, making New Jersey the first state to legislatively abolish the death penalty in over 40 years. Around the country, the death penalty is declining in use and other states are examining their own capital punishment statutes.

This, to me, is highly disturbing. One of the two methods the Bible instructs us to use for dealing with criminals (just restitution) was abolished in 1865, and now, we are caving in to the UN and the EU by beginning to abolish the other method used in the Bible. Not only is it accepted by the Bible, it has also proven to be an effective deterrent not used often enough. When I go to my work site in Tennessee, their eagerness to use the death penalty means that I am as a result surrounded by less criminals. I have never, ever witnessed a crime in Tennessee, and I’ve spent several years worth of time there.

Death PenaltyOn the other hand, the moonbats in control of my native state California means that the death penalty is rarely, if ever, applied. If I don’t see a car chase on the freeway in a week, I am extremely lucky. That’s why we are planning on moving residence to Tennessee. As wonderful as the OC often is, there are too many treefrog welfarekooks in our lives to withstand, especially the kind that robs banks.

But what are we to expect from New Jersey? After all, this is a state where the most done to sex offenders is to prevent them from handing out candy on Halloween. I, for one, do not wish to show any mercy to those that have violated God’s law, or endangered the salvation of another human being. At the very least, these people should be castrated. Ideally, they should be rounded up and shot. But with the passing of this law, no woman or child can expect to last a year in NJ without being raped and sodomized.

PrisonFinally, we must always consider the taxpayer. I learned that if we give criminals the money it costs to house them, then they would have no reason to steal. I think it costs about $16,000 per criminal, last I checked. This is an obvious waste of taxpayer money. My children should not have to be denied their holiday gifts because we have to be ‘kind’ to some welfaremonger. They had their right to life, and they forfeited it.

Ideally, the crimes covered by the death penalty would greatly expand. Abortionists, for example, should be executed. But even if the minimum amount of crimes covered by the death penalty were murder, kidnapping, rape, and theft, we would not only see a great drop in crime, we’d be able to afford the shinier gadget. Death penalty opponents are one of America’s greatest domestic threats. These people hate America so much, they should be executed for treason.

The Future of Our Nation!

December 1, 2007

Mike HuckabeeAt present, it is a little less than a year from now that Americans will be making their way to the polls to once again decide the future of this Great Nation; in choosing a Presidential candidate who will lead the way. This is the way it’s always been, government created ‘by the people’, and, ‘for the people’. However, in all the documents and laws penned by man, there is one Law that stands above all the words of man combined … God’s Holy and precious Word!

The Freedom and prosperity of this triumphant Nation that we get to enjoy every single day, come from Our Creator. He inspired the men of the Bible to write for us standards, in which we may live by in order that we may humbly implore His Holy and Righteous favor. Thus, our very future rests upon our willingness to put Him first in this Nation….Thus, our Laws should follow accordingly…How?

We start by allowing God to deal with our hearts, come into our lives and cleanse us from all unrighteousness and when election day comes, we ask that He give us the knowledge and wisdom to make the right choice in choosing the candidate that acknowledges God as Creator and seeks His favor, not so much for personal gain, but in making the decisions that will affect each and every one of us.

I Like Mike

Holy Cross of JesusI believe Mike Huckabee is that person. Mike Huckabee is a man who has lead a life in the Church, and when I say the ‘Church’, I’m talking about all those who have accepted Christ into their life, and that’s an important point; you see, the Church excludes the different denominations, it encompasses every one, in every denomination, who has accepted Christ. You know, religion can divide us as much as or more than politics can, in regards to theological belief systems, but there’s one message that will never divide us … ‘Christ Crucified’. Amen?

What are Mike Huckabee’s stances on the issues? I’ll go over a few…

The Issues

Mike Huckabee opposes abortion,same-sex marriages and civil unions.

He’s right on all three …

Our Nation took a severe blow to our Christian heritage and Constitution in 1973 when Roe V. Wade was enacted. Roe V. Wade is nothing more than a license to Murder, it has brought untold bloodshed on this Nation, Forever stained. With nearly 50,000,000 little innocent lives snuffed out … the little Babies blood cries out in want for someone to save them!!!

I am confident that Mike Huckabee would do his very best to see an end to this barbaric Evil!!!

Marriage - One Man, One WomanOn same-sex marriage–God’s Word says, in Leviticus 18: 22–Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.

Mike Huckabee says, “I would try to do the same things that I did as governor of Arkansas, where I led a constitutional amendment that was passed overwhelmingly by our voters that affirmed what marriage is. Marriage is a relationship between one man, and one woman, for Life. I also believe that we need to do other things. I declared a state of marital emergency in our state, called pastors and other clergy together to commit to community marriage policies, to not engage in carrying on marriages unless they had counseled with the couple beforehand. We were one of the few states that passed a covenant marriage bill in Arkansas. I would support strongly and lead–not just support, but lead–an effort to have a constitutional amendment to affirm marriage as between one man, one woman, for life.”

Source: 2007 GOP Values Voter Presidential Debate Sep 17, 2007

He’s right on the money, again … and it’s time to strike down the sick bill that Bill Clinton signed into law, the “don’t ask, don’t tell,” law.

The Gavel of JusticeMike Huckabee supports the Death Penalty.

God instituted the Death Penalty that grants some authority over people who commit acts of murder and other crimes against humanity–Genesis 9:6 Whoever sheds the blood of man, by ban shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.

God instituted governments to carry out the laws of the land.

Romans 13:1-4 – Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer.

So, you see, we would have far less crime in our major cities and metropolitan areas if we federally mandated the Death Penalty.

The current system just will not work, because the existing laws give the opportunity for appeals, and thus, time is not on the peoples side, people are dying at the hands of Murderers. Don’t get me wrong, a trial must be conducted, it is the fair way, but we must do away with any appeals, parole etc, etc. We must carry it out as swiftly as possible, and in turn, it will send the message that, ‘We don’t allow Murder’.

PrayerMike Huckabee also believes that God has a rightful place within our school systems, in prayer and teaching. Evolution is unacceptable. Children must be afforded the opportunity to hear the message of Truth from God’s Word!!!

These are the primary reasons I support Mike Huckabee, and I am aware that there other issues which need to be addressed, but I think these are the issues that affect us in far greater implications that some may realize.

Mike Huckabee will be a tremendous help to this Nation … As I’ve said though, it is ultimately up to the people to decide which direction they want America to go…They can choose God as their guide, or they can choose their own conscience, the problem with the conscience is that when we start to think, the flesh tends to do the thinking for us.

We must rely upon Almighty God to help us make the right decisions!!

God bless,

Political Power in the Pulpit

November 30, 2007

B4C is honored to present this guest post written by Jeffery Curtis Foli, the former mayor of Chillicothe, Missouri.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Mitt RomneyHow far should religious leaders be able to go before they cross the line and breach the legal separation between Church and State, and who will hold them accountable? Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Gordon B. Hinckley, Oral Roberts, and some Catholic leaders are just a few who have challenged these issues.

I hope it is not the case, but if my story is any indication, Mormon religious leaders will take Mitt Romney aside as needed and help him remember just where his ultimate loyalties lie. I, as well as Mitt Romney, have made sacred agreements to support the interests of God’s future kingdom, as we see it within the Mormon perspective. But are individual religious interests and National interest always necessarily the same? In the case of a President Mitt Romney, is what is good for the Mormon people, equally good for all the citizens of the USA, and will the leaders press him?

I don’t know if Mitt ever had this issue before him in the past while serving as Governor of Massachusetts, but this possibility was twice made clear to me while I was serving as Mayor/CEO of the City of Chillicothe, Missouri. During one incident, I was taken into church offices and verbally threatened, by President and Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley via Stake President, and attorney, Detlif Lehnardt in a private meeting, with excommunication if I did not rescind my recently proposed legislation. I believe Federal Law (Tax Code Title 26 section 501) states that a Church cannot engage in such activity.

In another incident, Mormon leaders confronted me and told me to support the Mormon party line on a specific issue instead of what I knew was legal, honest, and in the best interest of those in my City. Since my oath of office was to represent the citizens of my City, and not the interests of the Mormon Church, I pressed each issue as far as I could in an appropriate way. I believe we can serve in both capacities in an open, honest, and honorable way, if the leaders will just keep their noses out of places they don’t belong.

Charges and complaints have recently been filed with the Sheriff of Livingston County Missouri, the ACLU, and the IRS. At each and every turn, these charges have been stonewalled, with no one wanting to challenge the accountability. The Mormon Church is enormously popular as well as powerful.

Just to reiterate, I ask, will Mitt Romney be his own man if elected, or would he be controlled by Religious Leaders? The multi-million man re-migration of Mormons to Missouri could be triggered in a small way just by the election of Romney. These issues are not at all isolated to the Mormons, I am sure.

The War on Thanksgiving

November 21, 2007

ThanksgivingMy eldest three children attend Martin Luther King Elementary. The school used to be called Herbert Hoover Elementary, but the name was changed a few years ago to pander to the PC police in our town. (Typical!)

Yesterday, the kids came home with their Thanksgiving artwork, which consisted primarily of cut-outs and drawings of vegetables. My six-year-old, Noah, brought home a paper turkey that he made by tracing his beautiful little hand and drawing on a face. My seven-year-old, Christian, drew a picture of food groups you find in a Thanksgiving dinner, and Hannah, my oldest, made a cornucopia collage of pictures cut from magazines. I have proudly displayed their pictures in the kitchen.

I couldn’t help but noticing, however, what was missing from their artwork. Where are the Pilgrims? Where are the Indian head-dresses with feathers stapled to a paper band? Where is the picture of Pilgrims and Indians shaking hands? Their absence borders on blaspheme in my book (which is, of course, the Bible).

?When I asked the kids what they learned about the first Thanksgiving, they drew a blank. Not a single one of their teachers told them the true story of how the Pilgrims and the Indians laid down their weapons and joined together to feast on the fruits of the land in peace and harmony. Not a single one of their teachers talked about how Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time to express thanks to the Glory of God and the bounty He provides us here in this great country.

Hannah’s teacher told the class that the Indians don’t like to talk about Thanksgiving anymore. She also told the children that there wasn’t really a “first Thanksgiving” and that it wasn’t even a holiday until the time of the War of Northern Aggression (of course, her teacher calls it the “Civil War” – but taking away states’ rights is not very civil in my book). And, of course, I’m certainly not surprised that they didn’t talk about Who we are supposed to be “Thanking” on “Thanks”giving. That would bring out the ACLU!

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting fed up with all the political correctness that goes on at that school. My husband and I are discussing taking the kids out so I can home school them and make sure they learn the Truth and not just some PC-police-approved pabulum.

In the mean time, Hannah and the twins are helping me make a big batch of corn bread for tomorrow’s dressing while the boys are running around the house hooting like a pack of wild Injuns, wearing home-made, mother-approved Indian head-dresses. That’s what Thanksgiving is supposed to be about. After you give thanks to God, of course!

Have a Happy and Godly Thanksgiving everyone!

A Married Lady
