Mental Health: It’s a Republican Thing

by

BDS, a Mental Illness Spread by MoonbatsYesterday’s rampage by a crazed Hitlery fan really underscores a recent study which demonstrated that, while Republicans have excellent mental health, Democrats and schizophrenic Independents do not. But I think we knew that already, didn’t we?

Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls. Fifty-eight percent of Republicans report having excellent mental health, compared to 43% of independents and 38% of Democrats. This relationship between party identification and reports of excellent mental health persists even within categories of income, age, gender, church attendance, and education.

Conclusion? Moonbats are the ka-waziest people!

Perhaps that Democrat urban legend about President Reagan evilly throwing all the mentally ill out onto America’s streets has some merit after all. That would certainly help to explain the election of Slick Willie in 1992, the unhinged reaction to the Goracle’s defeat in 2000, hanging chads, Florida Democrats voting for Pat Buchannan, 9/11 conspiracy theories, Bush Lied People Died (TM), another “stolen election” in 2004 (Goracle II), Nancy Piglosi, the Ron Paultard Revilution, and Cindy Sheehag. No wait, scratch that. Nothing can explain that last one.

MoonbatOnce a Republican President is inevitably sworn in on January 20, 2008, perhaps his first item of business should be to launch a Leftist Mental Health Initiative. Let us build a multitude of loony bins across the nation, from sea to shining sea, to once again house the unhinged leftists that currently run rampant across our nation. Perhaps we should just fence off San Francisco. Duncan Hunter could certainly build that wall. And we can then invest in keyless padlocks to ensure they are kept safe from the outside world forever. It’s the humane thing to do.

Liberalism is a mental disorder, to be sure. Let’s help these poor delusional folks by locking them up so that they will no longer be a danger to themselves and others. Let us show ourselves to be true “compassionate conservatives,” in the best sense of the term, by investing our hard earned money so that these poor unfortunates can be safely segregated from society where they can receive the care they so desperately need for the remainder of their miserable and useless lives. It’s the least we can do.

Exit question: When will the WHO finally declare BDS to be an officially recognized mental illness? Democratic Underground breathlessly awaits your prognosis and merciful committal. Basket weaving, anyone?

They’re coming to take me away, ha-haaa.
They’re coming to take me away, ho ho, he he, ha ha,
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time
And I’ll be happy to see those nice young
Men in their clean white coats and
They’re coming to take me away, ha-haaa!

[…] Update: Science finally confirms that liberalism is a mental disorder. […]

I see that you waste your time over at Balloon Juice, home to the two poofs and a silly-ass goofus thrown in for the Hell of it. Hope the cold is better.

  3. John Nickelsen Says:

Wait and see … the clinton television network may soon report that the “deranged Clinton fan” is really a wealthy conservative. Remember, libs are compassionate, caring, and kind.

Thanks David. My cough is getting better. But then I’ve been practicing it all night.

Typical Fox/Coulter/Rush word twisting. As you quote just below this lie:

Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats or independents to rate their mental health as excellent, according to data from the last four November Gallup Health and Healthcare polls.

Note the word “rate,” which you omitted from your paragraph above. Either you’re deceitful, or stupid, although in a similar Gallup Poll taken two years ago Republicans rated their intelligence as higher than Dems, even though that one too has been debunked.

  6. alvarezgalloso Says:

Actually, the Republicans and Democrats have terrible mental health. They have a problem with anal retention. The Independents see the Republicans and Democrats and what they want is Common Sense.

  7. dianarn Says:

The sane people admit they’re crazy. It’s the crazy ones that deny being insane.

  8. Thinking Ape Says:

I’ll second dianarn’s motion (I am sure Texas probably has the least amount of “insane” people since the GWB fried them all) with an additive: does some vote Democrat because they are mentally unstable or do mentally unstable people vote Democrat? I realize that this is more of a ranting rather than a discussion blog, but do you seriously think this way?

  9. lightofjesus Says:

I couldn’t agree with you more, Psycheout! That’s something I’ve been wanting to hear for a long time, from all Christian Conservatives!!

  10. Abe Says:

    Well well

  11. BJ Tabor Says:

What I find interesting about this study is it shows that not only is the leftists crazier they know it. It has long been show one clear sign that you are insane is you say you are. What do you except from people who believe the Earth revolves around the Sun?

  12. totaltransformation Says:

Maybe that is why they support state financed health care so much- they know they need treatment! HA!

  13. Elimin8Sheeple Says:

I wanted to feed your extremely inflated self-esteem, by informing you, as a registered Republican w/ Bi-Polar II diagnosis, you successfully angered and hurt me with your comments.
You would enjoy it more if I were a Democrat, but I can’t go as far as to change party affiliation every time it would make up for one more kick-ball game, some jack-ass, blogging, hate-crime committing twat, (i.e. you) was picked last to join, and now has an infriority complex large enough to stand in perfect mathmatical paradox to the size of his penis.
Life and pain are not divided by your two-party system. Pain is part of human existence. Some individuals cannot understand, and even insult others, forcing them to relive a pain that was bad enough in the first place. We refer to them as racists, or, in your case, biggots.
Kindly go f8ck your little sister. Then, entertain the thought of a formal education.

  14. Astra Says:

Do I detect a revival of the late great Blogs 4 Brownback? Oh how I have missed my daily dose of parody. At least, parody or otherwise, I have a hard time taking you seriously.

  15. Cody Says:

Anyone involved in politics is crazy. Sane people keep as far away from it as possible.

  16. Astra Says:

PS @ Elimin8 – brilliant commentary. As a registered dem with bp I, I respect your comments and am totally in agreement that mental health (the deep flaws in our country’s system or otherwise) and those touched by mental health issues cut way across party lines. Pain and humanity – those don’t come in red or blue. I tentatively reach across the battle-lines to shake your hand.

  17. Sisyphus Says:

Democrats are horrible, horrible people. They lie, steal, cheat, and molest children. Anyone you meet who says he or she is a Democrat deserves to be screamed at. At best.
